Situated on Sun Island with views directly overlooking Lake Titicaca. Hydrofoils take clients to the island and the walk up to the hotel takes roughly half an hour. There are four main ruins on the island and all are within walking distance although the main ruin is roughly a two and a half our walk away.All the rooms differ in size from small to large. All are in good condition with red brick flooring, cream coloured walls and wooden beds. All have private bathrooms and are in good condition.Serves local and international cuisine it is furnished in traditional Bolivian style with red brick flooring, light wood furnishings and terracotta tiled walls. Typical Bolivian tapestries hang from all sides.A traditional Sun Island building made from adobe, as are most constructions on the island, with terracotta tiled roof.The lobby is small and traditional in style.Without doubt this hotel is the best accommodation available on Sun Island in terms of comfort and services alike. © GTA 2009
