This hotel is well located in a quiet street in the town centre, only 30 metres from the Bodensee (Lake Constance). The building that houses the seven Lakeside rooms is located directly on the waterfront and is across the pedestrian walkway that separates the two buildings.All are medium in size and are in good condition. They are equipped with all facilities one would expect from a four star hotel. The rooms have large windows with direct views onto the lake. The bathrooms are very modern and separate from the sleeping area with glass and therefore these too sometimes have a view of the lake.The hotel is quite well known in Friedrichshafen. It specialises in fish and regional dishes, but it is closed on a Monday. The restaurant is decorated in warm colours and is very inviting and cosy.The exterior of the hotel is traditional. The front of the hotel is yellow brick. It is made up of two parts, there is the main building with the majority of rooms and some rooms are located in a smaller building 20 meters behind the main part, both buildings offer the same high standard.This is small in size with a wooden reception desk to the right hand side as you enter the building.A well maintained hotel and the owner is constantly updating the decor. © GTA 2009
