Margrave Karl Wilhelm was thinking of rays of sunshine when he laid the foundations in 1715 for the fan-shaped city that is Karlsruhe. The builders of this 103-room city hotel were thinking of sunshine hours when they constructed this lush oasis at the Bahnhofplatz (Station Square) in 1919. This privately-run business and conference hotel, whose fa¿ade is listed for preservation, offers an individual, personal atmosphere with attentive, professional and friendly service. Facilities include a fully air-conditioned lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, cloakroom and lift access. There is a restaurant, bar, TV lounge and conference facilities on site.
