The hotel is located in a small shopping precinct approximately 5 kms outside the centre of Augsburg, just off the romantic strasse travelling northwards and a 10 minute drive to the motorway leading to Munich (approx 45 mins drive).The rooms are large and in good condition as are the bathrooms. They are decorated in neutral shades of beige and cream, and large windows ensure they are pleasantly light and airy.The hotel has two restaurants - the main one (where breakfast is served) is located on the first floor and is a large attractive room with modern pale wood furniture and a pastel colourscheme. Meanwhile the hotel has a more traditional restaurant on the lower ground floor, decorated in typical bavarian style to create a cosy, intimate atmosphere.Set behind a good sized car park the hotel is modern in appearance.The lobby is medium sized and simple yet elegant in style with a cream marble floor and tasteful furniture.This hotel comes highly recommended as an ideal Munich alternative (although further from Munich, the hotel is about as quickly reached by coach as airport hotels).Reception is closed between 22:30-06:30.
