Its innovative architectural and interior design enabled the hotel to be the first Hungarian member of Design Hotels. Besides the accustomed comfort and elegance of superior hotels, it offers a unique visual experience to travellers looking for creative design solutions. The modern design milieu of the hotel provides surprises in every corner: a diver morphing into wavelets on the fa¿ade, overhead glass suspension bridges holding sand-blasted fingertips, archaeological remains of a water tower below stairs and a uniform made by award-winning Hungarian fashion designers on the hotel staff. It offers 45 rooms all with an individual look, 3 panorama suites, 3 meeting rooms with conference facilities, a restaurant with a terrace, a caf¿ and a bar. Free wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel. Guests are welcomed to the air-conditioned establishment in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Further facilities on offer to guests include a cloakroom, lift access, room and laundry services and a car park. The hotel offers rooms and suites featuring minimalist style, complemented by unique design objects. Every room has a different creative story: a wedding ceremony in one, a movie in the other, a dance lesson in another and so on. Every room is equipped with individually regulated air conditioning, heating, free Internet access, a flat-screen, Internet-connected TV featuring international satellite/cable channels, a telephone, minibar and a safe deposit box as basic room fittings. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, bath and hairdryer and the bedrooms are furnished with double beds. Each room also has a radio. Guests may enjoy a massage at the hotel for a fee. How to get to the Hotel Lanchid 19 in Budapest

The hotel is situated at the foot of the Buda Royal Castle near the city centre and a stone\s throw from Lanchid (Chain Bridge), taking travellers to the Pest-side centre with central business and shopping districts. The Danube\s view is fascinating, encompassing Margaret Island as well as the Pest riverbank. The other side of the hotel provides an equally stunning view, facing the Buda Royal Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bus station is around 150 m from the hotel and the railway station is some 2 km away. Budapest Ferihegy International Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 20 km, whilst Vienna International Airport is about 220 km away.
