The Park Hotel is situated in Kenmare on the Ring of Kerry overlooking Kenmare Bay and within its own landscaped grounds and gardens. Overall a beautiful and tranquil setting.Most rooms are located in the original part of the house and are quaint in decor and style, each are individually decorated with a selection of antique furnishings and oil paintings. Each room also enjoys a small cosy sitting area. Floris Toiletries, De Witte Lietare towelling and Rivolta Carmignani linen are just some of the luxurious comforts to be enjoyed.The Park is renowned as having one of the finest restaurants in Ireland. It was awarded a Michelin star for its cuisine - an extreme rarity in Ireland. The hotel also offers a range of over 200 fine wines , and prides itself on it excellent service. Neat dress required.The hotel was built in 1897 and is an imposing and splendid grey gothic-style manor.There is no lobby as such. Clients enter into the great hallway where they are greeted by a member of staff who conducts the checking in process at a small desk. Clients can wait by the open log fires in the hallway or lounge area.The hotel cultivates an image of grand opulence. © GTA 2009
