The hotel is just 9km from the Shannon Airport and 15km from Limerick. It is situated in its own wooded grounds next to Bunratty Castle.The rooms are clean, bright and spacious and come equipped with all modern amenities including wireless broadband, etc.Pj's Restaurant and The Shamrock Bar serve breakfast, carvery lunch and an a la carte menu on a daily basis. Wherever possible they will use locally-sourced ingredients in their international cuisine. For something completely different there is a medieval themed banquet in Bunratty Castle.This is a traditional low rise building that has been carefully designed to fit inconspicuously into Bunrattys charming scenery. The surrounding landscape is attractive forest and grassland and the hotel is set slightly back into the trees.The lobby is large in size and has plenty of seating; in keeping with the theme of the hotel. In general the lobby is traditionally furnished with modern touches here and there that do not spoil the overall effect. It is a very pleasant place to relax with a paper and a coffee.
