A superb location, right in the Gion district of Kyoto, where traditional Kyoto is preserved at its best. This is, in fact, the only urban hotel in the heart of Gion. It is a 4-minute walk from the nearest subway station, Shijo Station, and an ideal location for sightseeing and business.All rooms are compact, modern and light. There have all the necessary facilities, inlcuding LAN Internet access installed in all rooms and tea-making facilities. Some rooms have views of Mt Higashiyama and the Yasaka shrine. The bathrooms are clean and in good condition.There is one restaurant offering Japanese cuisine, as well as a bar. In summer, the rooftop also serves as a beer garden.This modern brown building has a Starbucks cafe on the ground floor, connected with the hotel.The lobby is medium in size and has some seating space. The hotel restaurant leads off from one side of the lobby.
