This hotel is located approx. 15 minutes by foot to the centre of The Hague, alternatively, tram 17 from outside the hotel takes 5 minutes. The hotel is located very close to the Peace Palace which takes only 5 minutes by foot and is a short taxi ride to the beach.The guest rooms are medium to large and in good condition and have been refreshed with fresh paint in either purple and white or terracotta and white, to match the carpet of the bedrooms. The bathrooms are large and decorated either in pink or grey with large black marble sinks and also in good condition.The restaurant, which serves breakfast only, has been totally renovated and is located behind the reception area in a bright room with light wood floors, cream walls, blue furniture and a feature working fireplace. There is also a very attractive bar located next to the lobby which has also been renovated and serves light snacks. This room is very cosy and intimate with a reddish brown decor, a fireplace, and a bar with plenty of bar stools as well as comfortable sofas.The exterior is a fairly modern, non-descript building.The lobby is small and compact but also inviting and leads to the bar area.This is a nice, small, personal hotel which has benefited from some renovations . © GTA 2009
