This hotel is ideally situated, just a couple of blocks from Oslo's main train station, which will take you less than 5 mins on foot.The rooms vary quite a lot in size. Many are small, but some of the larger ones are really quite spacious. The decor is simple and no-frills, and despite only being in fair condition, the rooms are all clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are also in fair condition.The breakfast room is located off the lobby. It is a very pleasant room, with the original huge sash windows, and since it's on such a high floor, the views are lovely.The hotel has an attractive, traditional facade.The lobby is actually on the 4th floor, and is reached by lift. It is small and functional, but friendly enough.This is a simple budget property, but represents a perfectly sound choice for the traveller for whom location is more important than star rating. © GTA 2009
