Built in 1891 and renovated in 2006, this air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 163 rooms including 35 suites spread over a 5-storey main building and a 6-storey neighbouring building. There is an impressive foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom, a lift, boutiques and a hairdressing salon. How to get to the Hotel Reid´s Palace in Funchal (Madeira)

This very traditional, exclusive luxury hotel lies high on a mountain at the end of a landscape dominated by steep cliffs and surrounded by a large garden. Guests are able to enjoy a wonderful view over the Bay of Funchal and the beach can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Numerous shopping possibilities and public transport links lie within a few metres of the hotel. The town centre with its various nightclubs and bars is around 1m from the hotel. The airport is about 20 km from the hotel.
