The hotel is within walking distance of Central Park, the Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Museum of American Folk Art, Children's Museum of Manhattan, and the Riverside Park.The rooms are large and kept in good condition. They are comfortable with good views overlooking Broadway or Central Park. The standard room includes either two double beds or one king-sized bed, a marble bathroom and fully-equipped kitchenette with microwave, coffeemaker, tea kettle and complimentary coffee and tea.The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is a 24 hour coffeeshop next door, providing delivery service in place of room service.This is a tall red/brown brick building with staggered stories on the upper levels. It is a former residential building dating back to the late Thirties, so is traditional in style.The small lobby is stylish, with a black and white tiled floor incorporating a small seating area.This hotel offers very good value and is recommended for its kitchenette facilities and spacious accommodation. © GTA 2009
