1. How do I book a flight?

To make a booking with us is simple! In just a few clicks you can reserve your flight. All you need to do is select your departure and arrival airports, number of passengers and then choose the price and timings that best suit your requirements. Follow the booking process, complete the payment and you will then receive a notification regarding your booking.

2. How do I know if my booking has been confirmed? I have not received the confirmation email

Once you have completed the booking process, our system will provide you with a reservation number.

A confirmation email of the flight will also be sent to the email address provided during the booking process. We do typically confirm bookings within 24 hours and in most cases immediately. Occasionally if we encounter technical difficulties with the airline or we receive a special assistance request it may take longer. 3. Where can I find information about online check-in and baggage allowance?

Rules regarding online check-in and baggage allowance vary depending on the airline.

With some airlines it is compulsory to check-in online in order to avoid further charges when you arrive at the airport. Full instructions are provided in our confirmation e-mail.

4. How can I change or cancel my booking?

To request changes or to cancel your booking, it is necessary to contact us at least 24 hours prior to your flight departure by telephone on +39 0423 402040 (please click here for a full list of our customer service numbers and details of costs), open from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 AM to 8.30 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00AM to 7.00PM.

In order to make modifications of any kind to your booking (alternative route, departure/return date, passenger name), simply inform us and we will contact your chosen airline in order to check the feasibility of the change.

Please note that changes are not always permitted and all requests are subject to authorisation by the airline.

Please note that:

  • We cannot process e-mailed requests for changes: changes and/or cancellation requests can only be accepted by telephone, at least 24 hours prior to flight departure. For Sunday and Monday departures, it is necessary to contact us by the Friday previous to departure.
  • The cost of booking modifications and cancellations requested by the passenger can varydepending on the airline, route, number of passengers, etc. Once your request has been handled you will be informed of the exact amount to be charged or refunded either by email, telephone or SMS.
  • Some fares and airline tickets are non-refundable or may entail booking surcharges.
  • The cost of the insurance will not be reimbursed.
  • In some cases if you do not use the outbound flight, the airline may refuse you to board the inbound flight.

5. The airline has changed my flight. What do I do?

If your booking has been subject to a schedule change or the airline has changed your flight, our Customer Service Department will contact you either via e-mail, SMS or telephone, to provide you with all the necessary information.

For this reason it is very important that you provide us with valid contact details during the booking process.

If you wish to accept the change to your flight, please follow the instructions detailed in the communication. 7. What types of payment can I use to book my flight?

8.There is an amount reserved on my credit card and my booking has not been confirmed. Why? What should I do?

In some cases when taking payment from customers, we use a secure standard procedure called temporary credit limit aimed at protecting the customer’s funds. This is where the amount the customer should pay upon booking is simply 'frozen' and not withdrawn from the customer's available funds. This means that no charge is made to your credit card until your booking is confirmed, therefore it doesn't have any effect on your interest or clearing period.

Should your booking not be confirmed for any reason, no charges will have been made by either Rumbo or the airline and the amount 'frozen' will be released immediately. However, the credit will be returned according to your bank's timings and in the event of a delay we recommend that you contact your bank's Customer Service.

9. I would like to purchase extra services for my flight. What do I do?

Some airlines offer a priority boarding service or the possibility to add further hold luggage in addition to those already booked. If you wish to take advantage of these services you will be able to select them during the booking process.
